How to Complete the Lunge Hip Flexor Stretch

The Best Hip Flexor Stretch

Tight hip flexors seem to be the way of the world these days – but they don’t have to be. Sitting for 13+ hours a day has become commonplace and as such, our hip flexors can shorten, and we can start to develop things like back and hip pain.  So it is up to us to spend some time correcting this issue! This has to be the best hip flexor stretch to get started with! It’s isolated, comfortable most importantly; easy to complete. This is exactly how to complete the best hip flexor stretch, the lunge stretch!

Start in a lunge position. The leg you are attempting to stretch should down and furthest back. Now maintaining a neutral back, gently drive your hips forward while squeezing your glutes on the stretching leg. Hold here. Feel free to rotate your trunk back and forth to find the best area to stretch for you!

Do this for 2min total throughout the day.
